Green Cadence carried out an EED energy audit for Modiform in Roosendaal. Modiform is a leading manufacturer of innovative packaging solutions for the horticultural sector, with sustainability as one of their core values. The audit is part of their ongoing commitment to structurally improve energy efficiency and environmental performance.
The EED audit (under the European Energy Efficiency Directive) offers organisations insight into their energy consumption as well as concrete leads for savings. During the audit, Green Cadence mapped the site’s entire energy consumption, analysed production processes, installations and building-related energy use, and identified feasible energy-saving measures.
The report’s recommendations help Modiform make targeted choices in their sustainability policy, such as optimising compressed air use, improving heat recovery.
