Carbon reduction plan for Thermae 2000
Realisation in Valkenburg a/d Geul (NL)

We are proud to announce that Green Cadence has been engaged to develop a CO₂ reduction plan for Thermae 2000, the well-known wellness resort atop the Cauberg in Valkenburg. This collaboration marks the next step in making the leisure and hospitality sector in the Netherlands more sustainable.
Thermae 2000 has been a renowned name in relaxation, health and wellness for decades. With its location in the middle of nature, the resort attaches great importance to sustainability and environmentally aware entrepreneurship. To take further steps towards climate neutrality, Thermae 2000 asked Green Cadence to draw up a concrete and feasible reduction plan.
In this process, we analyse the resort’s current energy consumption and carbon footprint, identify sustainability opportunities and develop a roadmap of smart, cost-efficient measures. These include heat demand optimisation, use of renewable energy sources and improvements in installation technology and building management.
With this assignment, Green Cadence underlines its role as a reliable partner for organisations that want to build future-proof operations. We look forward to working together with Thermae 2000 towards a more sustainable future.
Together we will accelerate the green transition.
