Active Ants on the road to carbon neutral

Active Ants Nederland B.V. is a large E-fulfilment company with sustainable ambitions. They take care of all webshop logistics for webshops. From purchase to delivery of the right order worldwide, including the return flow. And they like to do this as sustainably as possible. Through their partner Tascon B.V., Groene Cadans was asked to develop a CO2 reduction plan to save energy costs and make their operations more sustainable.
Using our approach, we completely mapped out the energy management of their 12,000 sq m facility in Nieuwegein with a construction year of 1979. Our advisory report contains a roadmap that Active Ants can use to take follow-up steps towards becoming CO2 neutral in the coming years.
This takes the first step towards a potential reduction of approximately 700 tonnes of CO2 per year. This is the equivalent of about 140 conventional homes.
