Our founder

Green Cadence Consultancy was founded in 2020 by Michiel Willemse, driven by his passion for energy and his mission to fight climate change. After graduating as a mechanical engineer at the University of Twente, he worked on large projects at Shell, focusing on energy efficiency and emission reduction.

The global experiences that Michiel gained, such as hurricanes in the South China Sea and forest fires in Australia, strengthened his awareness of climate problems. These experiences motivated him to found Green Cadence Consultancy, with the aim of accelerating the energy transition.

Michiel and his team help companies optimize their energy consumption, implement sustainable solutions and comply with legal obligations. They offer partnership and guidance on every project, with a focus on a more sustainable future energy system.
