250 kWp solar power Makso Assemblage
Realisation in Veenendaal
At the end of 2020, Groene Cadans realised a solar power installation on 1,500 m2 of roof area of Makso Assemblage B.V. Makso is a progressive printed circuit board assembly company based in Veenendaal. Quality is a matter of course and necessary for the production of their high-quality products. They are working hard to make their energy-intensive production process more sustainable. The solar installation makes optimum use of the available surface area and meets the insurer’s strict requirements. It provides Makso with some 216,000 kWh of sustainable energy per year and makes a significant contribution to a sustainable energy supply.
Implementation was done in cooperation with installation company Bol-werken and its own installation team. An independent inspector from CSIB Inspections carried out the completion inspection. This already took into account the strict requirements of Scope 12, which comes into force in 2021. Meanwhile, the installation has been running for several months and the energy bill is dropping significantly.
